„The adventure begins“

04/011/2014 There was not anything like it in the sports of hockey before! A children’s book series that focuses on hockey! The Frankfurt author Sabine Hahn, a mother of a hockey playing child herself, releases the first volume of “Die Hockey Kids” published by the Casimir Verlag at the end of the month. Hahn tells the story of the adventures of Lars, Lena and Max who decide to join the hockey work group instead of the football work group at their school and more importantly, she really brings across her joy, fantasy and knowledge about the topic. Furthermore, Hahn and her three main characters will join the party at the Indoor World Cup 2015 in Leipzig.

As you can see on the illustration of Sabine Hahn, Max, Lena and Lars have already identified a poster of the Indoor World Cup that runs in the Arena Leipzig from the 4th until the 8th of February. While the best hockey players of the world battle for the world cup title in Germany, any young hockey fan and player would surely like to watch the matches live in the arena. We will certainly hear more frequently now from the three Hockey Kids until the hockey highlight of 2015!

At the world cup, there will be a special booth where the visitors of the event will be able to purchase the book. Hahn herself will be in Leipzig with her family as well and will offer readings in the “Kinderland”. Moreover, she will certainly have the opportunity to enrich herself with ideas for upcoming volumes of The Hockey Kids. Furthermore, Chris Faust – the head of the hockey work group of her son, national coach of the Czech Republic – as well as Corinna Zerbs who is the club coach of her sun, a good friends and also a national player of Austria will also be there in Leipzig. No doubt, there will be crossed fingers!

The release date of the first volume of The Hockey Kids with the title “The Adventure Starts” will soon be revealed. In addition, there will be more detailed information on Sabine Hahn and her book project because one thing is clear: this book is a perfect Christmas present for any child that likes hockey or wants to discover this sport. Until then, this first illustration of “The Hockey Kids on their way to the Indoor World Cup” surely whets your appetite.
